JOHN EDWARDS, CV.  After graduating from Auckland University in New Zealand with a civil engineering BSc (Honours) in 1978, John spent 37 years in an international career providing petrophysical measurements in 13 different countries.  Since leaving that industry in 2014, John designed and managed a conversion of a central London Victorian warehouse into their family home, wrote a book on hiking in the Hajar Mountains in Oman, and has designed and built multiple items of bespoke furniture.  He is City of London Councillor representing the Ward where he lives, serving on the committees Planning & Transport, Streets & Walkways, Local Plan, Port Health & Environment and the Sports Board.
