With 20 years experience across advisory and funding in the senior living market, working with operators, funders and investors seeking to invest, grow or exit the market, Phil has been involved or lead on several key transactions in the senior housing sector in recent years.  This includes the sale of Retirement Villages Group to AXA-IM, the sale of Birchgrove’s first retirement rental schemes to M&G in 2022 and Audley’s innovative sale & Leaseback in 2024.  A deep and detailed understanding of operational issues and drivers developed through decades working with operators in an advisory capacity and a passion for the market to learn from best practice across adjacent spaces, including advising and developing the ULI best practice guide for senior housing in 2019.
