Rupert firmly believes in the direct correlation between a company’s positive values and its commercial success. He champions the concept of purpose-led business, where organisations operate not just for profit, but with a deeper reason for being—what he calls “the why”.

Under his leadership, x+why has become a leading platform working in partnership with commercial landlords across the UK. The company designs and operates a new generation of workspaces and hospitality-driven amenity spaces, incorporating:

• Concierge and front-of-house services
• Curated mee ng and event spaces
• Food & beverage offerings
• Members’ club spaces with a community-first ethos

As of 2025, x+why will be operating across 17 locations, including major urban hubs such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Milton Keynes. With an ambitious growth strategy, the company aims to be present in every gateway city in the UK by 2028.
