Director

Michael is a Director and is also the lead for Cast’s Pre-Manufactured Value (PMV) programme with a focus on expanding the use of PMV across the construction industry. Michael is an expert in cost management and procurement strategies, applying his expertise to establish innovative procurement routes including collaborative alliance frameworks. His experience of both Later Living and Build to Rent sectors helps ensure client drivers and budget are aligned with the latest sector requirements and key design metrics.

Michael is keen to promote the benefits of PMV at both project and industry level with the ambition to inspire others in the sector to adopt pre-manufactured processes. He wants to see the industry benefit from the use of PMV including improved cost and programme certainty, reduced waste and improved health and safety. Michael has played a leading role in deploying the industry’s first online PMV estimating tool and further defining the PMV calculation through the accompanying technical manual.
